How City Scramble Works

City Scramble is a community run/walk adventure through St. Louis neighborhoods, visiting local businesses along the way. Part race, part scavenger hunt, part block party — all benefiting City League's student athletes.

Register
Sign up below — individuals, families, and groups all welcome. Free to participate.

Show Up
Arrive at the start location. Take a photo of the map and plan your route.

Scramble
Run or walk to as many of the businesses listed on the map as you're able. Collect a raffle ticket from each location.

Win & Celebrate
Return to the start location and turn in your raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes donated by local shops.

Frequently Asked Questions

City Scramble is free for everyone — there's no registration fee. If you're able, we welcome a donation to support City League's student athletes. You'll get raffle tickets at check-in, and you can buy extra tickets (5 for $20) to boost your chances at the prizes.
Absolutely — families are encouraged! Children must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. All minors under 18 require a supervising adult present throughout the event.
Most events cover a 1–3 mile area depending on the neighborhood. There's no set course — you choose which participating businesses to visit and how far to go, so every pace works.
You'll visit as many participating businesses as you're able and collect a raffle ticket from each one. At the end of the hour, return to the start location and drop your tickets into the baskets for the prizes you're hoping to win!
Not at all. Walk, jog, run, skip — whatever works for you. City Scramble is designed to be accessible to all fitness levels.
City League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that develops youth through school sports across St. Louis. We serve 850+ student athletes annually across Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Cross Country, Cheerleading, and our Champions Cup program.
DVLP+ is a personal growth and development brand and the co-host of the City Scramble events.
City Scramble events happen multiple times a year in different St. Louis neighborhoods. Register your interest and we'll notify you about upcoming events. Follow us at @stlcityleague for updates.
Everyone registers individually — there's no separate group sign-up. If you're coming with a school, gym, or other group, enter the same team/group name on each person's registration so we can see you're all together. Add any minors you're responsible for under your own registration.

City League City Scramble Participant Waiver

By registering for City Scramble (the "Event"), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk. I voluntarily participate in the Event and understand that participation involves physical activity and movement through public streets. I assume all risk of injury, illness, or damage arising from my participation.

2. Release of Liability. I release City League (St. Louis City League, EIN 32-0695088), its officers, board members, volunteers, co-hosting organizations, and participating businesses from any and all claims, demands, or liability for injury, illness, or property damage arising from my participation in the Event.

3. Minor Participants. If I am registering minors, I confirm I am the parent or legal guardian of each minor listed and grant permission for their participation. I accept full responsibility for their safety during the event.

4. Photo & Media Release. I consent to City League's use of photos and video taken at the Event for promotional and educational purposes.

5. Medical Information. I am physically fit to participate or have consulted a physician. I take full responsibility for my health during the event.
